Join us for a conversation and readings based on the translation of Saidiya Hartman's Lose Your Mother: A Journey Along the Atlantic Slave Route (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2007) in French by Maboula Soumahoro as À Perte de mère, sur les routes atlantiques de l'esclavage (forthcoming 2023, Éditions Brook, Montreuil, France). The conversation will be moderated by Kaiama L. Glover.
